Literally been stuck on this boss since this game came out. And I've been playing fighting games my whole life. Still stuck. I cant find a helpful tutorial anywhere.

These games may be hard and rewarding, but I don't like dying all the time. Also, the game loop is boring. Attack once, roll, roll, roll, attack once, roll, roll, roll. That's not fun.

I find sweeps to be ridiculous. Why didn’t they add a different sound effect or at least have it be a blue attack instead of a red one? Maybe I can see them spin, but their poor game design is leaving me unmotivated to try, and I don’t like to try when gaming to begin with cause I’m a casual player. Edit: we’ll made video though, this game, however, has disappointed me.

Just wanted to say thanks for playing through Bloodborne, I watch it when I'm doing the dishes or working on projects in the evening! 😅 I don't join the chat as I'm always watching it delayed. I have the game on PS4 but I'm more of a PC gamer really. I subscribed when I saw your Dark Souls guide videos, they helped me get into the games and since then I've finished DS1, 2 and 3. Gonna beat the 3 Dark Souls and Elden Ring. I never played Dark Souls before, and I must admit it is far more advanced than I anticipated.

I installed the game yesterday, until today afternoon i could not pass the hydra, then on a run i got all the good for the special of the minigun, firing 5 rocket with very increased dmg and crit chance and a build all around crit, got out pretty easily all of a sudden

I kind of love how mysterious and obscure everything is in the beginning. I picked the pendant even though it said it has no effect because I thought "Well, I don't know what any of these others do either so what's it matter? Also hey it says it might bring comfort and it seems like I'll be needing some."

It's interesting though: there is no "game over" screen, which is different to many other types of games. You just die and then you go again. I started playing just a couple days ago and boy, after the tutorial I think I died like seven times in a row to the couple of first skeletons I met before I decided "maybe I need to go somewhere else first..."

I rarely comment on videos but this one was really good. Most tips vids just restated the obvious, which has its use if you just need a location or solution, but this one really explained the technique and the concepts behind them. It’s a real instance of teaching viewers to fish themselves vs spoon feeding a solution. Makes you a better player as opposed to just solving the specific issue bc you understand how you got there. Kudos

Great choice of music. The first time I played Dark Souls legitimately, I felt like it was basically a 3D Castlevania. It makes me wish they would make one with Dark Souls inspired stage design and combat more or less. (Yes I know there were 3D ones but they don’t count).
